Our Curriculum

Leadership Development
Our program is designed to help students develop leadership skills through classroom instruction and hands-on activities. These activities include Raiders, Drill, and JLAB, which are all geared towards promoting leadership and teamwork. The program uses the chain of command structure to teach students about leadership and decision-making skills. Our program is unique in that it promotes leadership development in a supportive and challenging environment, molding the leaders of tomorrow, for a better future.

Altruistic Growth
We serve our community through various charity events. One of our highlight events is partnering with GEM to package food and basic necessities for those impacted by natural disasters, seeking refuge, and those in need. We also conduct formal Color Guards for local establishments, such as Mission BBQ and St. Katherine Drexel, to show our respect and honor. We also partner with different restaurants to promote both our program and their events or workplace, to help raise awareness and funds for our charity missions.

Academic Improvement
Through our ROTC scholarships, JLAB program, and JROTC study hall, we are helping our students excel in their studies and achieve their full potential. Our commitment to academic excellence is reflected in our 100% graduation rate. We also offer our students the opportunity to earn Local Honors credit by taking on leadership positions within the program which can help boost their GPA. At Cypress Bay JROTC, we are proud to support our students in all areas of their education, and we take the initiative to prepare them.

Patriotic Citizen
. Our cadets promote citizenship and respect to others while cultivating leadership skills through an immersive JROTC experience. We believe that good citizenship is not just a requirement, but a responsibility that each and every one of our cadets must uphold. We recognize that every cadet is unique, and we strive to create an environment where they can develop themselves and their potential to the fullest, while gaining critical life skills that will promote their self image to others.
